Ferrari 340 America
Another multi-purpose model suitable for roads and races. But from this time onwards, Ferrari preferred to build two different versions at the same time, one for touring and another for competition, such as the following 342 America and 375 Mille Miglia.
Formula 1 'fall-out' on GT cars was evident in the first America type which was powered by a large intermediate engine, used for both Sports races and for de luxe models.
